Midna by Folie-1618 Midna by Folie-1618
This is for Game-Art-HQ's project - Link's friend list :)
The character is Midna from The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess.
I had a hard time thinking of ways to portray friendship and just ended up with this old fashion lending a hand gesture xD

This is so... friendly. Goes really well with the soft colours and brushes.

One of the best Midna pictures I've seen in a long time. Lovely job! (mind lending me some of your skill?)

Yay! Midna! Great job on this!
It's simple, yet detailed! I make no sense!

Thank you XDDD makes little sense but it sounds deep, and I think I kinda get you ^^

:3 That's good. Sometimes not being proper, specific and deep is what it's all about!
I guess if I was to deliberate a bit though, it would sound like this?
It looks like a rough and ongoing project, but just having a good look at it, you know that it's perfect.
Sometimes rough is perfect, after all what is perfect?

Ah I see XD
I kinda interpret it as the way I portrayed the theme / idea is simple but the texture and strokes made it look detailed, my interpretation's quite a bit off haha ><
I'm glad you like it as it is ^^
Not specifically referring to this image, but I think most of the time detail is aesthetically pleasing but a bit of roughness makes an image stronger in many ways. That's just what I feel when I view images by some of my favourite artists ^^
